Description
- Optical Isolation: The PC817 optocoupler provides electrical isolation between the input and output, protecting sensitive components or circuits from voltage spikes, noise, or interference.
- Infrared Emitter (LED): The input side of the PC817 contains an infrared LED that emits light when forward-biased with a small current. This light is used to transmit signals to the output side.
